Estimated Physical Medicine/Rehab Board Pass Rates By Program
The pass rate for the Physical Medicine/Rehab board exam has consistently been high in recent years, with a reported average pass rate over time from the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation of around 95%. Candidates seeking first-time certification tend to perform better on the computer-based portion of the examination than on the written portion. 2014’s pool of candidates had a pass rate of 92% on the computer-based portion of the exam and an 86% pass rate on the oral portion.
